Beaverbrook 20 and Churchill 20 are tucked away in a sleepy hamlet not far from the little market town of Ilminster. These luxury large group holiday houses in Somerset make very special places to stay for big family holidays and celebrations – those significant birthdays and anniversaries that are best marked by spending a few days away with the people you love most in the world.
Both of these houses provide 5 star accommodation for 20 people in 10 ensuite bedrooms; they also have room for up to 10 more guests at an extra charge per person, are baby and toddler friendly and dog friendly. They have private spa halls with heated pools, hot tubs and saunas; there are large games rooms with a pool table, table tennis, air hockey and table football, and each has a movie room and secure outdoor space with play equipment for younger children.
We are proud that Beaverbrook 20 and Churchill 20 are suitable for all ages and for the less able bodied; ground floors are level throughout; both have a bedroom downstairs with a large walk-in wet room, and both have stairlifts. So guests can enjoy multi-generational stays and nobody misses out on the good times.
Our holiday houses are fully-equipped and have everything you need – dream kitchens with ample storage and cooking space, enormous dining tables for celebrations feasts and huge sofas for family movie nights. Highchairs and cots are provided on request, towels and bath robes are supplied, and we even have onsite EV charging. We’ve thought of everything because it’s important to us that guests have the best holiday ever and go home with very happy memories.
All around is beautiful Somerset countryside, with far reaching views, bountiful fresh air and birdsong. Just across the lane a footpath takes you through the meadows and woodlands to the village pub at Dowlish Wake. Just down the road is the quiet little town of Ilminster with supermarkets, independent shops and places to eat; within easy reach are the beaches of the East Devon and West Dorset Coast for days at Lyme Regis or Sidmouth. There are handsome historic houses and gorgeous gardens to visit, award-winning family attractions and timeless villages to discover.
